.45/22 Conversion Kit
Top Police and Combat Instructors know the importance of repetitive
training drills using equipment similar to that used in a match
or armed confrontation. For that reason, it's important to practice shooting with a pistol having the same size, balance, slide stop, magazine release, grip and other functions as your carry or competition gun. However, practicing with a caliber .45 pistol (especially if there are no reloads, like in Greece, where reloading is forbidden) can be very expensive. The Wilson Combat TM .22 conversion Kit has the same outside dimensions as your origianal 1911 auto slide allowing you to have all the above advantages while using your existing holster. But now, you can practice with reduced recoil and less noise by shooting less expensive .22 long rifle ammunition.
The Wilson CombatTM Conversion Kit has a Wilson CombatTM low profile snag-free rear sight with an improved ramp front slide which is serrated (40 LPI) to reduce glare while enhancing the slides appearance. Installation of the Wilson CombatTM Conversion Kit is quite simple, in fact, it's no more complicated than field stripping your original 1911. Just slide the conversion on, install your existing slide stop, substitute the kits .22 magazine and your .45 will now feed and shoot .22 long rifle ammo. To go back to .45 ACP, simply return to your origianal top end and magazine. Since the accuracy of the Wilson CombatTM Conversion Kit is not heavily dependent on the slide to frame fit, you will be amazed how accurate you stock 70 or 80 series 1911 Auto can be. Due to the reduced energy of the .22 round, the slide is made of high strength 7075T6 aircraft grade aluminum with steel re-enfrocement in critical areas, resulting in a smooth running durable unit. You can order the Wilson Conversion Kit with standard Black Anodized finish or a Black T Satin finish.
Ultima-Lube Universal
The Ultima-Lube Universal is a very potent, highly concentrated lubricant. According to Wilson, one drop of this staff can lubricate over four square inches of metal. It does not leave any gummy residue and allows dirt and contaminants to flow away from the metallic surface of the gun.
