NP-3

Robar's NP-3 is an electroless nickel finish with Teflon, which shows minimal buildup (which means that the dimensions of the gun do not change appreciably). It has a dull medium-gray appearance and resists wear and corrosion very well. Its Teflon content provides some self-lubrication. Due to its color, you should avoid having your sites coated with NP-3.

Roguard

Roguard is not as wear-resistant as NP-3, but provides excellent protection against the elements. It is of dull black finish, of an egg-shell texture. If you are doing too much presentation practice, Roguard might not held up so well as other more hard-wearing finishes.
