M-1911 Models : Imbel

South America Ordnance is a Brazilian joint-venture company wholly owned by Indústria de Material Bélico do Brasil (IMBEL) - attached to the Brazilian Army; Royal Ordnance plc (RO) - subsidiary of British Aerospace Defence Group; and Schahin Participações Ltda.. Imbel offers several M-1911 models, and I've been told that they are also the frames/slides manufacturers for Springfield Armory. Here are some models they produce:

From the pictures (because their web site does not provide a lot of information), it looks as if they are using at least one standard frame, one full metallic wide-body frame and one frame which looks very much like STI/SVI's frames.

Note the Commander-length pistol with the ported barrel, above (third row on the left).

Also note that they make at least two 9mm Para pistols, one in a wide-body frame, with 17+1 capacity and one in a standard one.
