M-1911 Holsters : Mitch Rosen

Mitch Rosen just send me his catalog, so I present to you here, some of the most good-looking holsters in the market. Mitch Rosen is in the holster business for the past 16 years, and they produce some very interesting models. Below, you will find the models which are suitable for the various versions of the old slabside.

ARG (Ayoob Rear Guard)
Designed with the collaboration of Mass Ayoob, this holster features a reinforced mouth for easy reholstering. It is an IWB holster, which has the belt slot at the rear, of the holster, where it is very slim. In that way, the whole holster is very slim and unobtrusive. The position of the belt slot at the rear, pulls the gun butt snugly against the body, reducing the printing of the gun. Another good thing about this IWB holster, is that the belt passes exactly above the trigger guard, which helps stabilize the holster better and of course makes concealment easier.

ARG-S (Ayoob Rear Guard Snap)
Similar to the ARG, but the belt loop has a snap, which allows for easy removal of the holster, without removing one's belt.

ARG-DL (Ayoob Rear Guard Double Loop)
Similar to the ARG but with two loops instead of only one at the rear. This design eliminates any up-down movement of the ARG, which movement was a design characteristic, build-in for user comfort.

MDM (Middleman)
This is a holster that fits between the belt and the waistline. It has a little less muzzle rake than the ARG, but still offers maximum concealment.

HAR (Harmon's Request)
This is a holster that fits between the belt and the waistline, but it is not a full-size holster, it is more like a slide. Possibly the smallest inside-the-belt holster you can find. Slight forward muzzle rake.

5G (Belt Slide Holster)
This is a typical belt slidetightly boned to the gun it will carry. It comes with a sight track, so the sight does not scratch the leather.

5JR (Full Length Belt Slide)
Similar to the Belt Slide, but with a full-length holster, covering the whole barrel, for better gun protection.

SPT (The Sport Holster)
A straight drop holster with a tunnel loop and a stabilizing slot at the rear. Sight rails are standard. An all-around holster for field use.

NSP (Nancy Special)
A holster made especially for women. It can be ordered for auto pistols of up to 4.25" barrels.

CCR (Counter Carjacking Rig)
A special purpose holster, for the person who sits for long time inside a car. This is not a general purpose holster, and it is not suggested to be used as such.

ARG Slim
Similar to ARG but made with the minimum possible leather, for those who want the ultimate in trim discretion.

THM (Thinman)
Similar to the Middleman, but made with the minimum leather, this holster is part of the Slimline holsters of Mitch Rosen.

STM (Straightman)
Again, similar to the Middleman, but in slim configuration and with a straight drop.

SLM (Slim-X)
Similar to Middleman, but in cross-draw and slimline configurations.

TITO (Tito's Revenge)
An IWB holster of slimline configuration, for cross-draw. IT comes with a snap, so that it can be easily removed.

5DM

A twin-mag pouch with both magazines pointing forward, allowing for consistent grasping.

SOS

This is their patended magazine pouch, called SOS. It includes space for one magazine and one small utility flash-light, like SureFire 6Z.
