SS Chromium M
SS Chromium M is a very hard coating which demostrates virtually no surface buildup to interfere with tolerances. In that way, you can have an action job done to a gun and then have it plated without any adverse effect on operation or reliability. It offers a white finish (like stainless steel) which is nearly impervious to moisture, chemicals and abrasion. If the coating brightness bothers you, you can bead-blast the surface of the gun, to get a more dull finish.
