This is an interesting proposal from Kart Precision Barrels Corp.. It consists of a drop-in barrel, with link, link pin and bushing. The interesting thing is that this barrel has a feature that allows it to be easily and correctly fitted in any gun. In the rear cut of the barrel, there are two tiny bumbs, All your gunsmith has to do, to fit properly the barrel, is to file those bumbs accordingly, file the hood to fit in the slide and ... presto (the red line points at one of the bumbs)!

The only area not addressed is the locking of the barrel. What happens if the barrel legs do not lock the barrel properly? Well, there is no free lunch on this earth.
