M-1911 Holsters : El Paso

I was trying to locate a source of the old military holsters that were used by US Army for the M-1911. The only firm that I managed to find that still produces these holsters is El Paso Saddlery, and here is a picture of the holster.

The original holster was the M1912 or "cavalry" holster. This is the one that hangs low on the leg, and has a swivel at the belt attachment. These were not seen much after WWI. The M1916 holster was about the same, but it lacked the swivel, and hung more from the hip. These were used right up through the Gulf War. I think El Paso is producing both of them, but you'd better check out with themselves.

They also produce the above shoulder holster for the old workhorse.
