Blaser Jagdwaffenfabrik was producing a very interesting accessory for the M-1911. It was a conversion kit, which fired .177 airgun pellets. The kit used a compressed CO2 cartridge, which fitted in the dust cover of the pistol. Since the grip remained the same, the user could practice in-doors, with minimum expense. Unfortunately, latest information (as of May 1998) indicate that the company is no longer producing this kit.
