Alumagrips was presented for the first time, at the 2002 Shot Show in Las Vegas. It is a set of grips for the M-1911, made from aluminum, an innovative material for this part of 1911. All Alumagrips come in the following colors:

• Black Anodized
  
• Nickel Plated
  
• Clear Anodized
  
• Olive Grey Anodized
  

Standard Smooth Grips
Just a plain, smooth set of grips at the colors mentionned above. Nice for those who like smooth grips.

Standard Checkered Grips
These are checkered grips for those who prefer checkering. The checkering looks quite broad, which is something I like.

Deluxe Checkered Grips
These grips are the same with the Standard Checkered, except that they have a design in the middle of each panel. The decorative design can be either a Fleur-de-lis or a Swooping Eagle and it can be either of the same color as the rest of the grip or enhanced (silver outlined) to stand out more.

Custom Deluxe Grips
The Custom Deluxe Grip represents the top of their line in the series of 1911 pistol grips. They provide a smooth oval surface within the checkered pattern where you can personalize your grip. Alumagrips will engrave up to 3 letters or numbers in a font of your choice. It could be your initials or those of a friend if you wish to give them as a gift. Use your own imagination to make them yours in a personal way.

Deluxe Tactical Checkered Grips
The latest style offered by Alumagrips, the Tactical grip is designed with the no-snag checkering used on all checkered AlumaGrips. The big difference on these grips is the smooth section on the back half of grip. This combination of a smooth and checkered section allows for a very good purchase while offering a fast firing grip on a speed draw.
